Are you interested in food safety and are starting or are in the middle of your research career? The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is looking for candidates for their EU-FORA grant program. The deadline for applications was 31 January, 2020.
EU-FORA gives new and mid-career researchers the opportunity to learn more about risk assessments in the field of food safety. The program starts in September 2020 with a duration of 12 months.
The program primarily includes chemical and microbiological risk assessments, and targets professionals from the following fields:
During a 12-month period the candidates will work at a European institution outside their home country, which has expertise in risk assessment work in the field of food. The candidate must also attend training courses. These are held for three weeks in September at EFSA in Parma, and there are training modules throughout the program period, held in Vienna, Athens and Berlin.
